Want to be able to record HD on my PC, but so far I only know of PC card that can receive HD signals from an antenna. Is there a card for your PC that can accept and record the HD signal from your DirecTV HD receiver?

  1. The only way to record HD on a PC is over the air (ATSC) or unscrambled cable (QAM) unless you have a cablecard computer which will allow you to record without restriction.

For satellite, you're restricted to SD versions of HD.
