I have a video player/recorder that is on it's way out, I also have a new DVD recorder. Can I copy all my favourite video films from tape to DVD by joining the two machines? If so, how do I do it and do I need any special leads, or will a scart lead do?

Any advice will be helpful.

Many thanx in advance.

  1. use a scart lead.

But if you are thinking of buying a new video buy a combined video/DVD recorder,  it is dead easy then, no wires just use hand control to set rocord from DVD to video or vice versa. Asda has its own make at £80, to Daewoo at £140. Best of luck it is easy.

  2. have a go with your scart lead, press record on the dvd and put it to av, then press play on the video, your scart should be ok to do it, good luck x
