Can I record some stuff on DVD+R and then record more on it later?

I know it can't be erased and re-written. I'm just asking asking if i use only a small space on the disk to record something, that isn't all I will be able to put on it is it? I can fill it up, right?

Hi Lane,

A DVD+R can be left open and added to but only on the original recorder. While the DVD is left open it will not play on another machine.

When you are completely finished recording on it you "finalize" it so it will play on other machines. Once it is finalized it can no longer be added to.

Yes, on a rewriteable disk, you can add more on it at a later time.
