Can I recover lost copied text?

I copied text (very long letter) and then copied other text without realizing I lost the previous text (on Internet Explorer). Is there a way to get it back? Thx

In IE, no. If Word is still running you may have the extended clipboard available, which automatically saves the last 20+ copy actions you've carried out.
