  1. If they are the kind that opens up like a book, you can turn them backwards and print out little calendars to put in them.  They stand nicely on a desk.  My students made these calendars for their folks out of my old ones!  You could put pictures in them too.

  2. I don't think they are recyclable...recyclable plastics have to have a little triangle stamped on them with a number inside.  This symbol indicates what kind of plastic it is for recycling purposes.

None of the cd cases I have here have that symbol, so that should mean they are not recyclable.  And if you put NON-recyclable plastics in the recycle bin, you will contaminate the whole batch and a LOT Of recyclable plastic will be wasted!

Perhaps someone who copies cds/dvds for themselves would like to freecycle them from you?  ( www.freecycle.org )

  3. can we talk on msn....   kcicek3005@yahoo.com please....i wanna meet with new people...

  4. I would just check with your local government's website, but I would suspect they would be

  5. In the scale of environmental sensitivity, the objective is first reduce, second reuse, third and the least desireable, recycle.

DVD covers are best dealt with by reducing the numbers made, by reusing them as much as possible. We should likely put them in a big pile awaiting development of recycling technology when they are totally beyond reuse.

  6. yes u can but if u recycyle to much it might rip up but thats a good question u can do whatever u think makes u happy

  7. If you're asking can they be put in a recycle bin, no.  They're not a recyclable plastic.

You could just donate them to the Goodwill, or look for a company that calls itself something like "polymer reprocessor."

  8. YES, I do all the time. I actually reuse them myself. I have all my cd's in an albumn due to how many I have. But I hate throwing things away that I can use again..SO I take the info stuff out that came with them and put that in with the CD's also and it is totally empty and available to put my photo CD's that I am making up of all my photos ...I give them out to other people in a nice case,I NEVER buy the cases ..I have alot from my music CD's.

If you don't have photos or want to sell them ,,,GIVE them away to the salvation army ...People DO buy them.

I had soooooo many  cd covers at one time when I first sorted out my music collection . I sold them at a yard sale 10 for $1.00 so I made some $ too that way. I sold alot of them and kept the others for my photo cds to give out.

I take alot of photos and give them out to family and friends on the cd's I make for them.
