  1. Yes there are ways of doing it, also some businesses do things with it like house insulation, those cubical wall things in offices, clothing, and other neat stuff including Styrofoam trays in supper markets them selves can be made from Recycled Styrofoam.

  2. No because it harms the environment

  3. You should be taking it to any company that ships items - Mailboxes, UPS, etc. I have researched it in the past and haven't found a place that actually recycles it. I just save it up in a trash bag and when I get enough to warrant a swing by, I take it while doing other errands in the area.

  4. If you get loads of it then stick it in your loft space, its great for insulation, if you have sheets of it its also good for pinning it to the rafters.

  5. Check with your recylcing service... some places allow it, some dont.

  6. It's actually degradable with a kind of chemical but costs just a bit more than producing new foam, so people don't bother about the environment.  Try using styrofoam for other purposes i.e. reusing it for models to avoid waste and damaging the environment.

  7. I don't know about big pieces, but UPS recycles the little styrofoam peanuts.  I just drop mine off whenever I get a trash bag full.  But I hate them and totally agree there are better choices for the environment as well as many other reasons,.

  8. You shouldn't.

  9. yes it sure is

  10. Styrofoam makes a wonderfuil filler for pies and milk shakes.  That is why so many fast food restaurants use it.  IN addition, to having a pleasantly crunchy texture, it is good for you!  Styrofoam does not contain any trans-fats, nor does it have processed sugar, and almost no carbs.  How about that?

    Yum Yum.

  11. I don't know but most likely it isn't.

What I would suggest is stay away from Styrofoam completely and choose other sources that are biodegradable or reusable.

  12. Styrofoam can't be reprocessed into anything, so it's not recyclable.  To be truly green, replace your Styrofoam plates and cups with paper and plastic, or better yet, use dishes that you can wash and reuse.

  13. Hello

You can recycle it. but is harmful to Environment.

PLEASE TRY TO AVOID STYROFOAM IN OUR DAILY LIFE.
