Can I refuse to do this?

We have construction going on at work and there is an area that has a sign posted saying Enter At Your Own Risk. The thing is we have to go in that area to do part of our job. I've had a sore throat for a bit now.. I went on holidays, sore throat went away, went back to work, sore throat is back. Can I refuse to enter the construction area?

talk to ur boss and tell him u think the construction area is bad for ur health

I would think so because the sign says enter at your own risk so if you don't want to risk your health then you shouldn't have to enter the construction area.

yes. no one can force you to do anything..i dont care if they are your employer or not..what is more important..their feelings or your health ya know?
