  1. You sure can .... but technically you're supposed to notify a change of address on you licence within a certain amount of time (6 weeks I think, could be less).

  3. Your driving license and your car registration are two different things. A person who does not drive can also register a car (he/she can have a professional driver), also a person who holds a driving license need not even buy or register a car!!

    So you can register a car anywhere else and can hold a license anywhere else.

  4. Sure, you can register a car. No problem.

    Your license, however, must be changed to a NSW license if you are not just visiting NSW.

  5. The law says you must register you vehicle at the address that it is normally garaged at.

    As Qld is an easer (and cheaper) place to register a vehicle I don’t think NSW will think your are doing them over.

    Dont forget that for a NSW rego, each year you will have to have a rego inspection.
