Can I rent a suit for a wedding in Rome?

Question

I will be attending a wedding in Rome but will be traveling around Italy before and after the wedding and would prefer not to lug around a suite with me the entire time.

I'm just a guest and not in the wedding so I'm concerned a tuxedo may be too dressy but perhaps I could rent something less flashy.

At any rate, I've tried searching online but cannot find anyplace to rent a suit so I'm hoping somebody else may be able to point me in the right direction.

Why not?  Your best bet would be to contact the wedding family.  I'm sure their party would be renting theirs locally as well.

You do not have to rent a tux if you are a guest . A nice sport jacket with some nice slacks and a nice shirt and tie will be just fine. Maybe  a member  of the groom or bride's family could loan you a jacket.

If you bring your own , you could use them for dinners at nice restaurants  so it would be that big of a deal carry it with you...
