Can I rent an apartment in UAE ,if I dont have residence visa?

Want to rent a 1 room apartment for 1 month , while im on tourist or visit visa ,,,, instead of booking a hotel

What is the procedure for that

time frame

and deposits etc

I believe that top contributor H is going to answere it too

  1. Sorry, but you will not be able to rent any apartment in your name while being on a tourist visa. You should stay in a hotel or hotel apartment.

    To save some money you can look for sharing accomodation. Also when subletting in residential areas is not allowed, as long as nobody complains.............

    Time frame is set by your tourist/visit visa (30 days) might be renewable once (tourist visa) depending where you got it from. If you get lucky and find a shared accomodation, deposit, procedere etc. is left up to you and the person who sublets the place.
