My condo doc's say I can only rent for 30 days, I only rent for 30 days just to cover my expenses, the doc's do not say not say what 30 days , so I rent my condo for one week at a time (summer only) my question, is it ok to rent for one week at a time ? Note: I have done everything the town requires to be approved to rent ,however one home owner of the association tells me the rules say 30 days not one week at a time-if you can't afford to pay your own expenses then sell your unit. I was the first person to buy my condo and have been renting for now 3 years -there are 28 units and only 10 are used all year the others are for vacation homes like mine.

  1. where do u live and wat are "doc's?" If you own your condo, you can do watever you want

  2. Read your docs carefully.  Every HOA's rules will be different.  It's very common for HOA's in Las Vegas to require a lease of AT LEAST 30 days.  They do this to discourage vacation rentals or a "transient" neighborhood.
