My son got injured a year ago in school and he is 12 now. We sued the county school and it was not much we put the money on a cd for my son for future school tuition, but now after a year he is complaining about numbness and pain can I reopen this case?

  1. No. Once a lawsuit has been paid out, that's it. It's done. You would have had to sign a form along with the settlement, saying that you understood once the suits been paid out it's final. That's why it's always a good idea to wait a year or two before settling.

  2. I don't think so, but you should talk to the attorney that handled the case in the first go round. Good luck.

  3. I don't think so.
