There's this cop who always hangs around the store I work at and he keeps saying that he's trying to make sure I'm safe, and he parks his cop car outside the store and waits until I go home, but its getting really creepy now and i'm getting a stalker-ish vibe from him. What do you think?

  1. 911 is a joke

  2. These people giving answers are off the wall. Just tell him you don't feel comfortable with him there all the time and you're getting a stalker vibe.  There are no grounds for making any complaint, you'll just look schizo.  Tell the officer to take a hike and I'll bet you a paycheck you'll never see another cop in there.

I hang out around my 7-11 when I'm not hunting.  It's a prime spot for late night robberies, which is why cops are always around them.  My little clerk loves it. He's always trying to give me things.

Good luck with your officer gone.

  3. He's probably just looking out for you and the safety of you and your store.

  4. YES YOU CAN BUT MOST OFFICERS ARE RELUCTANT TO TAKE A REPORT ABOUT ANOTHER OFFICER. IF THAT HAPPENS ASK FOR A SUPERIOR. IF THAT SUPERIOR DOESN'T WANT TO TAKE THE REPORT GO OVER HIS HEAD TO HIS BOSS AND REPORT THEM ALL.

  5. You have a valid reason to report him for stalking. And you should report him, or at least file an official complaint in case anything ever happens to you. And to keep a paper trail in case he starts showing up at your home or outsie your friends homes.

  6. There is a way to get the cops to actually listen.  It's called talking to the Internal Affairs officer.  He or she will write down what you have to say and question the cop.  Even if the cop denies it, there is an investigation.  Cops hate IA.  And if that doesn't work, call the non emergency number for the state troopers and report it, then there's the Attorney General's office, the FBI and so forth.  Never stop at the first roadblock.

  7. Yes you can report him.  Call the non-emergency number for the 911 dispatch center in your town-it will be listed in your phone book; your call will be recorded.  If you aren't satisfied with how it's handled, you can have your attorney files a request to have another agency handle the investigation.  Good luck and trust those vibes.

  8. All the answers are correct. But you can't do that until you specifically say "Please leave me alone"

  9. he must like you a lot maybe and is wanting to hook up with you.....most cops are nerdy a******s and maybe he seems like a stalker, but he is wanting to impress you and make you feel safe and then eventually he will start hitting on you.

  10. Make a citizens arrest on him and aslso file a civil suit

  11. Well if you know the officers name you could go to the police station and file a complaint.

Are you the last person to leave the store? Does he wait specifically for you? Are you close to the same age? If you are, maybe he is just doing a bad job of hitting on you.

If he keeps doing it, you would probably want to go to the station.

  12. My mom reported a couple months ago that she thought she was being mistreated when a cop arrested her for telling him to get his clip board off her car after she was giving a witness statement. He slammed her against her car and told her she was resisting arrest and she had huge purple bruses on her arm after this happened. She went straight to the police department and filed a complaint. 2 days after the police came and arrested her for fileing a false complaint. And everyone that was a witnessd  her being wrongfully mistreated got arrested too. They said it was procedure to arrest someone when anyone files a complaint against an officer and the officer denys any wrong doing. So she got convicted of false allegations even though she has witnesses saying that they think he was being rough too and he had no witnesses. The police think they are the law, not that they are supposed to enforce it. There was a big artical in the local newspaper about a lot of police officers telling everyone that they are the law. No they are not the law, they are law enforcement. That means they are supposed to be good people and follow the laws and regulations too. But unfortunatly that doesnt happen in most cases. They (here at least) always make you feel like your the one doing the wrong thing when you are a victim.
