I am paying car payments to a Buy Here Pay Here auto dealership and I have never missed a payment. I know the dealership won't report that I am paying on time to the credit bureaus, but can I personally report my payments?

  1. yes you can there is a company that allows you to manage your credit by allowing you to report any bill that is paid monthly, weekly, bi-weekly, and even quarterly.  the site is prbc.com.  they do charge a fee which is minimum for what it will do in the long run.  The fee for one bill is I believe 20.00 usd and 5.00 to verify your identity.  Every bill added afterwards (yes i said bill electricity, insurance phone, etc is 15.00)

  2. Yes and they should report it to the credit bureau as well some do monthly and some do yearly but you can as well.

  3. When someone pulls up your credit report what they see are the late payments. If there are no late payment reports it's considered that payments have been made on time.

If you never miss a payment and pay off the debt your credit score will go up.

Just one more thing here... one way to build your credit is to get a credit card. Make all payments on time and don't let the balance go over 50% of the available credit. Keep the card for as long as you can, years. It'll give you a good credit history. Read the terms and conditions before getting the card. Look for cards that have no annual payment and no finance charges.

  4. yes

  5. No. Think about it. How valuable would their information be to companies if the data could be self-reported?

  6. if it gets your rocks off!

  7. you can report it to the 3 credit companies, but i don't know if they will include it in your records.

and you can use it as a reference when you apply for credit.
