Can I request post office?

to stop the priority mail documents that I sent? I just sent it yesterday. It is a wrong document. It is possible to make it stop and send it back to me instead?

  1. I would say no. You can try and call the PO where the address is located and ask them to try and intercept it, but unless you have delivery confirmation on it and have the proof that you sent it; I doubt that they would stop the delivery of it. Just call the place that you sent it to and inform them of the mistake and then send the correct documents.


  2. I don't see why not.  I mean, we can stop checks from being cashed, we can intercept charges on credit cards, etc. Maybe you should call the post office and give them the tracking number etc.  Or, if the place gets the wrong document, just call them, apologize and let them know that you'll send the correct one.
