I bought a car today and I am regretting the decision.

I wonder if they would allow be to return the car and I just pay for the paper work fees

I KNOW IT IS STUPID FOR EVEN ASKING THIS BUT I AM STRESSED OUT BECAUSE I KNOW I DID NOT GET A GOOD DEAL. Why do I make impulsive decision? Why?

  1. Take it back, leave it on the lot.

Go stop payment on your check.

  2. Here is something I copied for you at a Law website.

(How bad did you get screwed? It happens to all of us).

Dealers aren't required by law to give used car buyers a three-day right to cancel. The right to return the car in a few days for a refund exists only if the dealer grants this privilege to buyers. Dealers may describe the right to cancel as a "cooling-off" period, a money-back guarantee or a "no questions asked" return policy. Before you purchase from a dealer, ask about the dealer's return policy, get it in writing and read it carefully.

  3. Repeat after me..."THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BUYER'S REMORSE CLAUSE WHEN BUYING A VEHICLE IN ANY STATE"!!! There isn't. Anybody who tells you different is dead wrong.

Car sales are final. You should have thought this through before you signed the paperwork. Now you are stuck with it. Enjoy your new car!

  4. Some states do have what they call a buyers remorse clause with out knowing your local it is hard to say. tom morrow I would call a local lawyer and ask if this applies in your state

  5. Most car dealors will not let you return a car after you drive it off the lot. depends on what you gave them for a down payment. and even if you do get to return it you will more than likly loose the down payment

  6. no way lol think longer geez

    what car is it ??????????

  7. If it seemed like a good deal when you bought it, it was probably ok.  What did you buy and what did you pay for it?  Surely it wasn't so bad.

Don't do anything rash or illegal, like stopping payment on your check.  The dealer is not required to accept a return, so all you can do is ask.
