I'm 18 years old and live in Cobb County in Georgia. I had taken (and passed) a G.E.D. test earlier this year but now I'd like to return back to high school. I have until 21 to graduate, and I have plenty of time since I already have some credits left from when I was originally in high school. BUT, when I went to re-register a few days ago, an administrator had told me that I can't re-register since I already have my G.E.D.....now my question is, is there really a rule stating that I CAN'T go back to high school even after getting my G.E.D.? I thought that I could, being that a G.E.D. and a high school diploma are 2 completely different things, and I should have my own choice to what I want to get, even if one if already retrieved.
