  1. If you can afford it then I would buy new bottles because of the issue with BPA but if you are going to use them again then you should buy new teats/nipples.

  2. No reason why not.

  3. Yes, I used the same bottles for all three of my kids. I did buy new teats though, those three holed, flow controlled ones were the best in my opinion, also made by Avent. just make sure they are sterilized before you use them.

  4. As long as you buy new teats

  5. i don't see the harm! and so what if you are being stingy ( not that i think you are) babies cost a lot of money and avent bottles are like £4.50  just for one bottle so i dont blame you!

i would make sure that they are in really good condition before hand

good luck with the next baby! x

  6. I did. As long as they are still in good condition. I did buy some new teats though.

  7. i did, i just got new teats. i did have to buy 2 new bottles tho, as 2 were quite 'scratched' from the bottle brush!

  8. I dont see any problem, Just make sure they are well cleaned and sterilised when you get them back out (Which im sure you would anyway!)

  9. as far as i know, bottles can be reused but u need new teats. good on u for recycling! oh, unless theyve gone cloudy, then they can release some sort of chemical that isnt good for them i think.

  10. sure just replace the nipples ;)

  11. I threw my bottles out when my little one was turning one so I wouldnt break down and give him a bottle, but I dont see what the harm is if you reused them.

  12. I did. . .I saved everything.  I just re-sterilized them and bought new nipple because some of them cracked.

  13. you would have to change the teats but there is no reason why you shouldn't use the bottles...i always throw mine away after each child, but thinking about it i wish i had kept them back as it is a waste of money and resources...

  14. Of course you can, as long as you sterilise them which I'm sure you will anyway. Oh and even if you were doing this to save money, it would not be because your stingy as babies are expensive.

  15. certainly, just buy new nipples and accessories

  16. i am currently using the same bottles for my son that i bought for my daughter, the ozs on the outside is a little worn, but the bottle is fine.

obviously you just need new teats/nipples.

  17. Your best to get new ones..once they've been sterilized and washed a liot then they get scratched....which is not good...esecially since Avent bottles are not BPA free....incase you dont know BPA is a very nasty chemical found in many bottles (including avent)...some countries are banning it and even Asda is to stock BPA free bottles in the near future.
