  1. no, elephants use for food, not for riding :D


  2. yes you can. there are a number of places in the central highlands ,most notably in"dak lak" provence near the city of "buon me thuot".. where you can stay in enthnic minority villages and do a number of cool things , including ride a elephant..[ just go to any travel office in viet nam and get details... but seriously , be carefull...

  3. It seems to me the Victoria Hotel in Hoi An also has an "inhouse elephant" that gives rides to hotel guests along the beach.
