  1. Ignore these idiots you can, it's just motorways you cannot go on.

  2. Of course you can- however be careful at first, it will be good experience for you and will payoff when you get a proper motorcycle.

The point about reading the highway code is a valid point though.

  3. No. In short. No you can't. In Long.

  4. The answer is Yes.

You can ride any size of vehicle of a Dual carriageway, it is only Motorways where restrictions apply.

It should state this information in the highway code.

  5. Duel? lol

  6. Of course you can, you pay your road tax and insurence like everyone else so you have the same right to the road as them. The only place you cannot go is the motorway.

Just stick in the left hand lane, keep checking behind and be prepeared to be overtaken by everything, anybody beeps their horn give them the finger, you've got as much right to be there as anybody else, remember that and don't let anybody else tell you otherwise

  7. If you do not know the answer to that question you really should buy a Highway Code. Driving on the road is not some kind of lottery where you just take your chance. You will be using one of the most potentially dangerous (to yourself) vehicles on the road. If this sounds like I am lecturing you, well sorry. You will be very vulnerable and you need to learn as much as you can about road use BEFORE you mix it with 30 tonne heavy goods vehicles.

  8. gemini d has the right answer,,,but do you have suicidal tendencies?,

i see pedestrians ,idiots walking and also leading horses and cyclists every day on my local dual c/way which has a speed limit of 70mph,,,every time a car or wagon past they are almost blown off the road,,,

ask yourself "do i feel lucky?"

  9. Yes you can, Gemini is correct, however, be very careful if your moped is restricted to 50km/h as you are going to have a lot of fast moving traffic coming past you! Articulated lorries doing 50mph, Rigid lorries and coaches doing 60mph and all the loons in trucks vans and cars doing 70mph!!

Make sure your mirrors are well adjusted so you can see behind you, and if you see a lorry struggling to get out into the other lane - stick yourself in the ditch quick!!

Wear a Hi Vis vest if you've got any sense - they're not expensive and you can't really put a price on your life!

  10. no you cannot
