Can I ride my motorcycle with a PICC Line in my arm?

Question

Lost half my finger at work 2 months ago. I have an infection in my bone now so I have a PICC Line for 6 weeks. I want to ride my Motorcycle. I just wanted to throw the Question out there to see if anyone has done this before I ask My Doctor and get shot down.

I think the best thing  you can do is ask your doctor as they are the ones who can tell you best if you are likely to cause more problems for yourself by riding.  I know it is  hard when you really want to ride and cannot and I have proof of the desperation that can be gone to, to get a motorbike fix when you need it as I have photos and video of my son doing mono's the length of our back paddock with a cast on his leg up to his knee.  He was a sight getting off the bike and back onto crutches.  i am sure the doctors would have been horrified but he was just so miserable not riding.

you are the one try it and if you are not comfortable don't ride but if you can and you feel good go for it just be smart don't go crazy
