Can I run a Rayburn Royal on bio-ethanol?

  2. Wood is carbon neutral as all the carbon in the wood has been sucked out of the atmosphere by trees.

  3. I wouldn't recommend it, any form of ethanol will run at a lot higher temprature than a wood burning stove is rated at. Ethanol is also very volatile and you could get woozy on the fumes!

    Much better to stick to word or charcoal..... but if you are going to use liquid fuel, use a moderator like sand to hold the fuel in the bottom of the stove, and think of using something thicker like vegetable oil (That's used as a hot weather replacement for Diesel!)
