  1. There are no coaxial TV connections on any receiver except in some cases for FM radio antenna hookup. The setup you are suggesting is impossible, the coaxial TV cable needs to be connected to a set-top box then from there you will have standard RCA audio-video outputs.


  2. Usually the co-ax cable runs to the HD reception box which has audio and video plugins and to the HD TV via HDMI cables.
