Can I safely delete pics and videos from my PC after uploading them to (a site such as) PhotoBucket?

I really need to clean out my hard drive. Can I trust a photo bucket-type site save my precious files for me?

Yes. Photobucket is actually the best. I have a lot of stuff stored there from quite a long time ago from my old computer. i had lost EVERYTHING that I had when my old computer got fried in a thunderstorm so I am very thankful that I had uploaded most of my pics there. I just wish i had uploaded more. As of now, I have over 500 pics stored on Photobucket.
