Can I safety delete Microsoft Office OneNote 2007? ?

There is a OnotelR.cab file in this program that keeps hanging up in my anti-virus program. I've tried two different anti-virus programs, McAfee and Trend Micro and when I scan for viruses, they both stop at this exact same file and doesn't finish scanning.

If you don't use it, delete it. Just another program.

No, you can't safely delete that file.  Deleting it will probably cause OneNote to stop working and may affect other parts of Microsoft Office.  If you don't use OneNote, you can remove it from your computer by going into the Control Panel and running the Windows application install/uninstall program.  Select Microsoft Office from the list of programs and then select Change (or Modify) and de-select OneNote. OneNote will then be uninstalled from your Computer and this will probably remove the file for you.
