Can I save this baby raccoon!?

I just found an infant raccoon and I noticed the mother (i'm assuming) had been hit on the side of the road the other day. Is there anything i can do to save this little guy? his eyes are still shut and he is a screamer! All help is greatly appreciated!

1...wear gloves and wash your hands a lot...thay r famour for rabies....2 use baby goat food...[weve used it for horses,deer and birds]   3 if u take it to animal shelter they will test it for rabies...[[by killing it and looking at its brain cells]  if it looks like it has a nervous disorder.do bring it to vet or shelter...and wash your hands

Call your local animal control and they will put you in touch with wild life reforges.  They will also tell you what to do till they get there.  Poor little thing is probably hungry! and scarred!

We found a baby owl once and this is what we did.  Try not to touch it too much.  Use a cloth.

Some states allow people to keep them as pets, so if you want it, they will guide you on it's care.

If you can not get hold of them, call a local vet.  Raccoons need Rabi shots and to check for rabies.

The best thing to do is probably find a rehabilitation center.  If you need a place to start, ask a local vet for assistance or your local animal control.

the best you can do is get infant milk in powder. and give it to him. that's pretty much all i know. so either try that or take the raccoon to the vet and see what they can do.

take it to an animal shelter/ vet  to have it checked for any disease, but if you are confident in what you are doing then just do some research but i think you feed the babies milk but you need to find out what kind of milk and for how long good luck with your new critter friend.
