Thanks for helping me when I ask questions! MY dogs mean the world to me, Just sometimes things go wrong so I try to find an answer before I go to the vet.

yep :D i know what you mean sometimes its nice and ease of mind to have some sort of answer before going to vets. and its nice to meet people who have a passion for doggies! and my doggys mean the world to me too my Milo and my Toby

Her weight would be dependent on her size, not all rottie's are the same size even though they are the same breed. Check the standard for you dog (AKC) and they will give you an idea how tall and how much she should weigh. I'm sure she is lovely!

if she is full grown and u can see the curve in her back and feel her ribs,she should be good and healthy.with large breed dogs u have to keep thier weight at the right lbs so they don't get trouble with their joints later on by carrying to much extra putting pressure on the hips. so with excersize and good food along with lots of love she should thrive. good luck

Can you see your dog's ribs? Does she appear underfed? I'm sure she doesn't, since you're obviously a dog lover, so I would say that 71 lbs is a good weight for her. How tall is she? The breed standard doesn't specify weights for rotties, only height. If she's on the smaller end of the scale then obviously she should weigh a little less.

I know what you mean, my dog means the world to me too, I am besotted with him.

Owning a dog is a constant learning process, isnt it? And when it comes to dry skin an allergies it is trial and error. Some things work, others dont.

I have absolutely no idea about your dogs weight! Im sure she is the ideal weight.
