Question:

Can I sell or give away my UNUSED (BRAND NEW) Walt Disney World ticket?

I went on a trip this past month. I had four tickets, but at the last minute one person backed out. So only 3 of us went. Which left me with BRAND NEW unused ticket. I know I can't get a refund, but can I sell the last one like on ebay or Craigslist or give it to another relative. This is a Magic Your Way 4-Day Base Ticket.

Please keep in mind that this ticket has never been activated, there are no fingerprints associated with it or days used from it. It is still attached to my receipt.

I do understand that these tickets expire 14 days after the first use, but i have never used it.

Thanks!

  1. I believe you are correct on the 4th ticket.  If you bought it and have not yet used it, it will not expire until 14 days after the first use which has not yet occured.  If you wanted to be better safe than sorry on this, you call or walk into your local Disney store and ask about this as they sell park tickets and they should be very knowledgeable about the subject.  You can also call the Disney reservation line and inquiry.  They are always friendly and helpful.  I would just double check with a Disney employee before posting them on either ebay or craiglist because if they aren't good when that buyer gets down there, you will have a heap of trouble of your hands.

    Hope that helps,

    Joanne
