Can I send a plastic tote box through the mail, withought cardboard?

I am moving to texas and need to know if I can send a plastic tote box through USPS. I am sending some heavy stuff and I have these totes that need to be used , so If I secure the lids well with tape will the post office accept it?

The totes will work fine, but wrap brown paper over them and it will be no problem.

Yes you can, and there is no need to wrap it in paper, if anything it can be separated fron it's lable easier that way.

Just make it is taped VERY well.

Plastic totes usually have handles which will make it easier to handle.
