Can I send my Asian Xbox360 console to the repair center in US if I get the red ring of death?

I bought my console in Hong Kong about six months ago. I'm wondering if I can send it to the repair center in US if I get the red ring of death.

Can I still have the Asian version back if it's repaired in US? Because I got a lot of NTSC-J games which can't be run on the American console...

not sure.  Call 1-800-4myxbox and talk to a cr.  If they say yes write down your sn and raise h**l if you don't get back the same one.  Remember, regardless of region a lot of times xboxes are just replaced if they are older or can not be "fixed".  I have sent in 2 consoles a total of 4 times! each one twice.  The second time they replaced them instead of repairing(new sn)
