Can I serve eviction summons/Complaint for unlawful detainer to my tenants personally?

I am an apartment manager in WA state. Can I serve my eviction summons' and unlawful detainer complaints personally, or do I need to have a 3rd partys serve them?

Must depend on the state.  Where I am this is done by the sheriff (or their deputies) and only by the sheriff's office.  If you want advice from someone who knows call the county office that gave you the form (or you could google it or look on your states wedsite) - they will know because they have someone asking them this every day.

  4. You need a third party to do it, but it can be a friend or relative.
