Can I share an internet connection between two wireless access points?

I have a good wireless network in my home. I have a few computers in my basement, and only one of them has a wireless adapter. I want to get all of them online but dont want to buy wireless cards and I dont want to run a cable, because its temporary. If I have two linksys wap54g wireless access points, can I put one downstairs and link it up to the internet connection somehow and then plug the computers into it? Or can I share the internet connection from the one computer that does have a wireless card to a hub, switch, or router? Any suggestions?

The router idea won't work.  Wireless access points just aren't built to work that way.  There isn't a utility to have the access point connect to a wireless network and redistribute the Internet connection on the wired ports.

You could use the Internet connection sharing function in windows I think.  Never done it but it could conceivably allow the other computers to access the Internet if you also have an Ethernet port but you would need to read up on it in the Microsoft Knowledge Base to get the steps.  Probably a lot of configuration to get it going if it is only temporary.
