Can I shave my legs with Hair Conditioner? Is there a difference?

My mom (for some strange reason) doesn't allow me to buy shaving cream. So can I shave my legs with just Hair Conditioner? Will it work?

As long as you use enough so that you don't cut yourself, it wouldn't be a problem. But the easiest thing to do is just lather a lot of soap on there!

Mom's right and why need all the clutter in the bathroom! Just don't gob it on there a thin coat is good really.And it's a cost saver too! It's a plus with gas and everything else these days!

I've used conditioner and it works as long as you apply enough.

Yeah, you definitely can. I just started doing that and my legs feel so soft, no nicks or cuts! It's just like shaving cream, except with some moisturizer. It works amazingly, so go ahead and try.

yes your just looking for a medium that the razor can float over and not take the top layer of your skin with it. So lube up and shave away.

I have used shampoo, body wash or conditioner. They all work. I also use a body scrubby and rough up my legs before shaving. It helps to get the hair loosened up and it seems to cut easier. Always use a sharp razor and use lots of warm water and lather up whatever you use.

Yes!! It makes your legs very soft. You can probably use any type of soap. Shaving cream just provides comfort, so you don't cut yourself and so your legs come out softer. Hair conditioner is a big plus! It works great!

you could use saliva and it would still work. shaving cream is just another waste of money...

you know ive heard that works! lol. crazy as it sounds i think it would be good actually... in fact one of my friends tried it bcuz she was out of shaving cream and she said it made her legs reeeeally smooth and they werent dry at all! so i'd say go for it just dont use too much conditioner

o yeah and she used pantene lolol
