  1. haha i dont thin so because your eye is not fully developed. you maybe can later but just get contacts, next best thing.

  2. Well, it WOULDN'T BE A GOOD IDEA!!!!!!

When you're blossoming, which is your teenage years, your eyesight tends to change more and more. And even past your growing years, your eys still change. You have to have a stabilization in your eyesight for 2 years before the doctors can perform laser surgery of some sort on your precious eyes!

    SORRY!

I know, huh, would definitely do it if I could!

    HOPE I HELPED!

Don't feel down (although I'm sure you're not) becuase laser surgery is only like 7ish years away! (18yrs old+stabilization). And who knows, while we're waiting (I'm 13 as well and have bad eyesight), technology might get better.

Plus, there's something called Ortho-K that helps your eyes get better and I'm pretty sure anybody can do it and they're special contacts you wear at night that help reform your cornea. Ortho-k can help you prgression of steadily worsening sight and can also improve it! But the downside is it's really expensive and requires much patience. The long name for it is Orthokeratherapy, I think. Something along those lines.

  3. No, you have to wait for your eyes to fully develope.  Which is near about 25.

  4. sorry to say no you can't.

the doctor wouldn't even take a look at at you. for one. ur still a teen and still growing and i think there is age where u can get laser surgery 18 i think it can be done but still again ur growing. i think the age is 21 to get laser... about? my friend's brother did it when he was 23.

anywho talk to ur doctor and see if theire are other options. glasses or contacts. contacts are awesome! i've been wearing them for 5 years now. there amazing.

  5. Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.

They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

    Hope this helps.

  6. I'm sure that there are people out there that would do it (money talks), but good doctors would wait until you're in your twenties, and at least several years after you've needed an adjustment in your eye prescription.  When I was 13, my corrective eye prescription was -1.25...today, almost 15 years later, it is -5.75.  Your eyes are still adjusting and it would be a waste of money to have laser eye surgery now.  Sorry.
