If so, do I pay the normal rate or is there a special rate for staying long periods?

  1. I heard the maximum for some hotels is 99 days

  2. If you know how long you want to stay, say like a month, when you make the reservation if the hotel isn't sold out to other people, then yes you can stay as long as you can pay. Some hotels will give a discount rate to long staying or frequent guests.
