  1. In the US, probably yes.  But you&#039;ll need some stuff from your doc, a demonstration of ability and some other stuff.  If you&#039;re not a member, join AOPA and ask their medical department.  Or you can go to www.virtualflightsurgeon.com and ask there.


  2. Yep. A good friend of mine has a prosthesis on his left arm. The medical appeals section of the FAA will certify you under a &quot;Special issuance&quot; medical certificate.
