I owe a community college some money and I'm also trying to enroll back in the same college. My question is: Can I get financial aid? I know that I have to pay them back, and I will. I just don't want it to conflict with my financial aid process.

  1. Chase has a private loan product where you can borrow money for a past due balance.  You will need to submit the outstanding bill and you'll have to repay the loan immediately, however, if that helps you enroll for the remainder of your education, it may be the right choice for you.  Their number is 888-663-9209 if you're interested.

  2. If you were out of school more than 6 months, your loan payments start to come in. If you don't pay them and are considered delinquent, then it will prevent you from even enrolling in a school!
