  1. Chea you can get your kicks on route 66!

  2. You will still get them

  3. Go there and find out....

Just make sure you have some wheels quick enough to get away from the State police....

  4. There are some towns on the Route that hold festivals celebrating the Old Mother Road. One that comes to mind is the San Bernardino, CA Route 66 Rendevous www.route-66.org. I don't think you need a sat nav, but maybe a guidebook as some parts of Rte. 66 is either blocked off or torn down.

  5. There are several sections of Route 66 that you can still travel,   new highways have replaced most.

I-55 parallels the old 66 from Chicago to St. Louis,  I-44 to Oklahoma City,  and I-40 across to California.    Adrian Texas is the midway point of the old route,  there are still signs on the old road at the west side of town bragging about this.

A  quick Googe search  of  "route 66"  will get you many leads to information to help determine the old route locations,   sights and attractions,  and history.     And by the way,  you will never   NEED  a sat/nav if you are bright enough to read a map.

  6. there will probably be more kicks without the satnav, leave it at home!

  7. route 66 in Australia is just FANTASTIC and as it almost straight, you certainly don't need a satnav!

  8. im confused
