Well in the past I received about 4 D's, but from my junior year I've gotten A's and B's. Its set in mind I want to succeed. (I live in Los Angeles.) I'm entering my senior year this coming Tuesday and I am determined to get A's and B's, if I do achieve this can I still go to college? (one college I got in mind is UC Berkeley.) I am really determined to do my best to go to college. Do I have any options? I'm stressing out here, so anything you say will really help me out a lot.

  1. You can definitely get into a college. UC-Berkeley.. no chance. That school is in the same breath as Ivies. You're not going to get into a school like that unless you have an outstanding academic record.

Look into a lower tiered school. Don't be afraid to settle for community college. If you get outstanding grades there, you'll have an excellent shot at many "good" schools.

  2. Is your question can you go to Uc or will they pay for it?  Yes, you can go to a university, they may not give you a scholarship.  They look at your junior year more than anything.  And be sure you take their introduction letter in the application very seriously.  Proof read it and get help being eloquent, succinct, and perfect punctuation and grammar.  I can't say that enough.  Good luck.

  3. It's mostly about your GPA and SAT scores....you will def. be able to go somewhere, but UC's are very hard to get into.  If you do not get into the college of your choice, consider taking 2 years at a Junior College and keep up your grades, that will make it easier to then transfer to a school of your choice. Do some research on the schools you re looking at and find out what the average GPA's for incoming freshman were for the last few years...this should give you a better idea.  Good luck!
