Can I still play beach volleyball at the height of 5'9"?

I really want to play but i am afraid i am to short, because i know that most girls are 6' or taller!

yeah you are pretty tall! Misty May is 5' 8'' and she plays volleyball! plus i am 5' 3'' and i have played beach volleyball

5'9" is definitely tall enough.  Don't know what level you want to play as but I'm a 6'1" male and i play competitive beach and i'm not tall at all.  

Get yourself a partner that compliments your ability.  If you can block like the thin beast (dalhauser of course) then get yourself a scrappy teammate that is great on defense.

Having two offensive players is great but your never going to win a service point if you can't get stops.  

Edit: as a reply to Dan Ye about being 4" shorter that Walsh, Walsh is a freak and has a 6'11" wing span!!!  That is freakishly not normal at all.  She is 6'3" though, that is 6" by the way

u dpo npot have to be a certain heght to play volleyball just work hard im 5'2 and that will not stop me from playing ever
