Can I still play volleyball if?

Question

I went to community college for two years at the same time as highschool so now I only have two years to go at this school I've been accepted to and then have to leave for graduate school so is it possible to still play on the university's team even though I only have two years there? I'd try as a walk-on so does the fact that I only have two years take away from the chances of making it if I was a borderline player, like I may be good for the team or may make no difference at all?

You should go to your school team and give it a try.

Whether they take you serious or not, I would recommend that you go to local open gyms and play some open volleyball, and hopefully get to know some other players, club coaches (I got to know one of those USYVL's executives in an open gym).

Talk to those players, and/or Google your city and see whether you can find a club team close by. If you can play on a club team, you will have better exposure to college recruiters than playing school-level-games.

If your community college offers volleyball program, or summer camp, give it a try as you will never know when it is your turn to get attention of a great coach :)

I've heard of many players only playing for two of their four years.

It's definitely not going to hurt to try out. so i say GO FOR IT!

Sure, if its NCAA you will have 4 years of eligibility.  You can use two of them at the university and if you goto a grad school with volleyball you would still have two years left.  Good luck.

You have nothing to lose....Go for it....having 2 years left means nothing....If your good enough they will take you.

It doesnt matter, how many years left, just try out, its your amazing theyll deffiantly take you! Have cofindence in yourself! (=
