  1. You chance getting dry socket.  Never had it myself but I hear it's painful

  2. Of course you can and from what I know about most Smokers is that there is no hazardous life threatening situation , social event or medical condition that  would be enough to stop a Smoker from reasoning to the world that their need for a cigarette would do no further harm to their plight or peril.

So , light them if you got them !

  3. Go ahead and smoke.  You won't get an infection from smoking. Sometimes smoking causes you to get a dry socket, but that happens sometimes even without smoking.  I have known people that smoked right when they got out of the dentist's office after having a tooth pulled.  It's been 4 hours - it will be okay to smoke.

  4. As I'm sure the dentist already told you, you shouldn't smoke or drink from a straw for several hours after having a tooth pulled.  The suction created in your mouth when you "take a drag" or drink from a straw can dislodge the blood clot that naturally forms at the extraction site.  If that happens, you'll know immediately -- it is extremely painful.

But.... I know exactly how you feel!  I'm not telling you to do as I did, but I never could wait!  I'd light up in the car before the novacaine even wore off.  I had to use my hands to hold my lips together sometimes...  (ain't that just too stupid?)  Anyway, I left the cotton in and never got a "dry socket" -- which is the name for it.

Good luck!    ............. is that smoke I smell???

  5. yep but if you continue you may find that in later life you will have to have a lung removed

  6. Yes it wont kill you, may well do later or you could loose a leg, get cancer of the mouth, lungs etc, give it up

  7. If you have stiches you aren't supposed to, or open wounds...but hey you're going to anyway so wahtever.

  8. ya, first thing i did when i got in was spark 1 up lol

  9. you can smoke, but you can get dry sockets...And for those who don't know, a *** in the UK is a cigarette.

  10. one wont heart go ahead and smoke it

  11. I wouldn't worry! I don't think it'll do anything to your gums! Have a f-a-g lol

    xx

  12. Might aswell, everyone else does.

They only tell you not to, because of risk of infection but that could happen if you eat something,

They're only covering there backs and telling you not to so you don't sue them in this crazy "no win no fee" world!

    enjoy!!

  13. dont be daft the smoke contains saltpeter, cyanide, phemaldahide all acids never mind nicotene being a stimulant that will only increase nerve impulses leave it for 1 day or stop smoking alltogether/patches work

  14. Yes, of course, though if you do, your risks of lung cancer, chronic bronchitis, emphysema and heart disease will continue their inexorable climb.

  15. ya

  16. I did, have since given up the f**s though.

  17. Yes,, if you want another tooth out and gum disease then go ahead

  18. Dude, smoking isn't good AT ALL. It makes lung diseases, makes teeth yellow, and its a slow, painful death.
