Can I still tan while its cloudy?

So it just got all cloudy but I need to tan. Will I still tan if I lay out with it being cloudy out or will i jsut look stupid?

You can still get UV rays from the sun, but the thicker the clouds the less sun you will get. If its really cloudy you might want to wait for another do, you might look pretty silly.

If there is some sun out you will still get tan.  Actually I have been told that some of the best tans you can get are when its overcast out.  Happy Tanning!

You will tan on a cloudy day. The UV rays pretty much go right through clouds.

yea ya will .. maybe not as fast ... but ya still will coz UV rays go right through clouds... thats why people say to wear sunblock even on a cloudy day because yea

It depends on what kind of clouds are in the sky.  The thicker the clouds, the less sunlight that will penetrate... and will prevent you from tanning.  

Although, some clouds can actually make it worse due to the reflection of the sun's rays hitting the bottom of the clouds and bouncing back towards earth... in essence, getting hit by the same radiation twice.
