Can I still transfer these classes over...what is the possibility?

I am currently a student at a 4 year university. Prior to this I was attending at community college. From the community college, I recieved an associates degree and transferred over to the university. The university only accepts 64 credits. However, over the summer I took two classes at the community college. I was wondering..could those two classes be substituted for two classes already transferred to the college? Meaning, I took Microeconomics and Macroeconomics over the summer. They can give me credit for these two classes but remove credit for the two classes that they have already accepted. This keeps the total at 64. Would a university be willing to do that? Thanks.

  1. I've never heard of it happening, but you would be better off asking people at your current school. They're the only ones who can tell your for sure.

  2. Speak to the transfer and admission departments at your transfer school or speak to the department for your major because at the end of the day it is up to the dean of that department to have the final say.

We can't answer your question because we do not know your school's policy regarding this issue.

My guess would be no, but if I was in *charge*, I would say yes.
