Can I still unscrew the blue PS3 s***w?

Question

I got a new HDD to put in my USED (this is important) PS3 and when I opened it....the blue s***w was all worn out and not screwdriver fits to turn it...

I know there has to be some other way to somehow get ahold of that s***w and open the d**n thing....anybody have any ideas?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

take a pair of needlenose pliers and grip the outer edge of the s***w and turn it counter-clockwise. hope this helps.

New or used, the PS3 is notorious for s***w problems. Using pliers worked for me.
