Can I still use English CD's in Australia?

Im emigrating in August and am taking all my CD's. They will still work in Oz wont they?

  3. Yeah man... They'll work anywhere in the world.  Well all the places i've been, which is loads.

  4. CD's will work with no problems.

    DVD's will work if you have a multi region DVD player, which are quite cheap anyway.

    TV's may NOT work, that will depend on if it can be changed to a different region.   The UK and Australia have different broadcast systems.  The Australian system is however very similar to the German one.

  5. Yes - you'll have to put them in upside down though :-)

    CD's are the same the world over. DVD's and DVD players are often country coded.

    well my aussie ones worked in ireland when i moved and then the same vice versa when i went back to visit!

  9. yeah no problem but your dvds wont play in austrailian dvd players so u will need a multi region dvd player and the idiot who said u have to put the cd in upside down dosent know what hes talking about
