Can I still use Soda BiCarbonate to clean after it's expiry date has passed?

Obviously I wouldn't consider using it in any food but I'm wondering if it's still ok to use as a cleaning agent.

just go ahead and try it.  not on a huge project or anything just on something small, and see how it works.   if it still does the job  i wouldnt see why you still couldnt use it.

No way!!!! I would not risk it.... I go through my whole house every two hours to look for bad items via the expiration date. And if I find them I always double bag them and throw them out right away... In case they turn toxic or somthing..... I have to go check the stove again, got to go............

Yes.... you can still bake with it too...

There is nothing wrong with using it.  The reason the expiration date is there is to make you aware of the last date the leavening agent is effective, not the cleaning ability.

Yes you can, but the qty required for cleaning will be slight bigger than the normal.
