  1. you can use it but its best to see a club fitter about the shaft. it can save you $$$$$

  2. Best not to. That shaft is on its way to breaking. A few scratches is fine, but a crack in it will already have compromised it, and that will only get worse with each impact. The good news is that if the head and hosel are not damaged, you can have a new shaft put in.

  3. As long as you are not playing with me...  I am allergic to flying metal objects.

  4. No, no don't use it. That thing could break in a second. If you care about it a lot, you can try calling the manufacturer and see what they can do. If not, treat yourself to a new driver.

  5. Cracked is cracked....its like a little broken.....but broken is broken in my opinion...Its just not safe to use.  And yes even a little crack affects performance

  6. Absolutely.  If your driver is cracked, contact the manufacturer and inform them immediately.  You'll find that often times, they may be willing to either repair the club, or in many cases, replace it with a new club at no charge.

Once a club is cracked, it is deemed unplayable in competition.  You would actually be penalized for using it after it breaks in competition.
