Can I stop AKT-4 on my own?

The AKT-4 prescribed by my urologist after my TB-PCR (urine) test came positive is literally KILLING me!

I am not even sure if I should be taking such heavy atibiotics with supporting tests for non-pulmonary TB.I have been taking AKT-4 for the past 15 days and my condition is getting worse.

I am urinating more than before, my abdomen hurts, I feel eye pressure, have skin rashes, tender stomach, vaginal burning sensation and the list goes on!

I just feel like throwing these tablets out......what should I do?

SOMEONE PLEASE ADVICE. Should I wait till I see my urologist at the end of this month?

  1. Dont wait, go now. when something isnt right, get back to the Dr office,  stat!

  2. skin rashes may be due to one of the drugs you are taking rest of the symptoms are not due to the drugs , your PCR being positive and strong clinical suspicion of your physician mandate that you should not discontinue your medicines on your own , you can obtain a second medical opinion if in doubt ,
