I currently store tined food in my garage, but I am still a little short on space in my kitchen and want to store things like rice, pasta, flour, dried milk etc in my garage also, but I dont want to spoil the food, or more importantly, attract vermin to my home. My garage is dry and cool.

  1. it's perfectly find for a garage but if you keep it in there long enough it won't have any meaning

  2. Sure, should be fine .. just keep it in airtight containers is all.

  3. You will attract mice and rats they will smell it from miles off. You could use steel containers, they will chew through plastic.

  4. I would place the items in glass jars to keep everything out of themand place them on shelves off the floor.
